.
Hello my Farmgirl friends!!!
.
Last month I talked about the Letter Writing Kit that I had made myself to keep me motivated on the letter writing challenge! And… I offered a giveaway of one of the kits to one lucky reader!
.

.
I made two of these kits… one for me and one for my mother. Then I posted about them on Instagram and had many people message me that they would like to buy one! So I’ve been busy making and mailing some of them! It has been such fun to make a pile of them.
.

.
I honestly cannot tell you how much I love my kit and how handy it is to carry around with me. I’ve even thrown it in my car when my husband and I have gone out for the day… you never know when I might be waiting around and can write a couple letters!
.

.
I’ve made it so that it has pockets for a small clip board, a pen, cards/envelopes and a little pocket for stamps! I’m so happy with how it came out.
.
So now…. the WINNER of a Letter Writing Kit is:
Heather N.
.

Thank you to all of you readers for following along on this letter writing journey and challenge. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I plan to keep it up! I started out writing a letter a day but then summer hit… you know; gardening and traveling! So I miss a lot of days; BUT I have still been averaging 5-7 letters a week it’s just that sometimes I sit down and write them all on the same day!
.

.
Next month… back to regular Farmgirl programming! Smile!!
.

.
Until our gravel roads cross again… so long.
.

You are a wonder girl! I’m a quilter and your use of colors and texture is awesome. You hand stitched every thing. You don’t see that anymore. Most don’t even know how to attach a button when you lose one off your shirt. Love the fabrics, who was the designer? I’d like to add to my stash.
God Bless,

God Bless,
Debi! Thank you! I really enjoy hand sewing and quilting. It is very therapeutic to me.
Don’t get me wrong though…. I love my sewing machine too!
The fabric manufacturer for all these lines is Poppie Cotton. You can google their name on Etsy and find all kinds of sellers. I am an Ambassador for them so I sew almost exclusively with Poppie Cotton fabric and it is the best fabric! (I’m not just saying that either!).

I love this, and I miss my Mary Jane magazine. I love seeing all the pictures and styles that this blog offers. Now that I found this site I will try to keep up. Thank you for not forgetting us. We love you guys. Kathy,
that is so cute!
Do you have directions or a pattern you can share to make these? I’m a beginner quilter and crafter and would love to make one
